What a Year!

Yep, that kinda sounds strange to say on this week of July but it is true. Justin and Ryan ended out their school year last Friday and what a year they had. Justin worked hard and proved to everyone that he could do it! By the end of the year he got mostly 3's and 4's (4 is the highest you can get. the grading system is 1,2,3, 3* and 4) with only one 2. We expected that though in writing. His 2nd grade teacher said it had improved since getting the tutor and he should be up to speed in no time.

Ryan got all 3's, 3* and 4's. From what we understand from the teacher it's really hard to get a 4 in Kindergarten too! I am so proud of both of them. They love school and work hard.

Today we went to visit their new teachers for the next school year, which starts on Monday. Yup, that's right, Monday! How crazy is that. They don't seemed phased by it though. They were just excited to have a whole week off. They got really good teachers for this year too. Ryan got Ms. Blomquist, who is Justin's tutor so we know her well and Justin got Mr. Trocino, whom he REALLY wanted. We have been so lucky at this school, almost always getting not just good, but excellant teachers. One's that really love their job and want the kids to do good. We couldn't ask for more.
OK, this picture has nothing to do with what aI was talking about but aren't they pretty. They daisys are blooming so nicely in the back I had to take a few pictures!
