Bookcases for the Boys

Justin and Ryan have had this never ending battle with their room. There never seemed to be enough room to store their stuff. Yet when we think we would come up with a solution it just seemed to make things worse by either taking up too much floor space or just being one large area which just created junk piles. So on our way home from NJ we stopped at IKEA. We love their stuff for kids. It's inexpensive yet at the same time sturdy. We made our way through the store looking at different options but kept returning to one bookcase system over and over again. We purchased what we thought would fit against the one wall of their room and started setting it up the next day. 3 evenings later (with Dave working and me home with all three boys we worked on it in shifts in the evening) we got this. We are thrilled with the way it looks, with the ability to organize and with all the room they have. The boys have even started to rebuild many of their precious Star Wars Legos along with some others so they can be displayed. Justin rebuilding one of his lego creations.

Hopefully it will stay somewhat organized (hey, I don't expect miracles but I can dream) and they will enjoy it for years to some.
