Poor Justin

Justin always seems to get all of the "strange" things wrong with him. Poor guy now has a perforated eardrum. Last week he had a sinus and ear infection, nothing he really whined about though. Wednesday night he is saying that his ear hurt (he rarely complains) so when he took his bath he decided to lay down and relax. He went to bed but within a half hour he was in horrible pain. He was up about 10 -12 times that night. We kept him home the next day still thinking it was just an ear infection. Something told me to call the doctor though so I made an appointment. Well by the end of the day we had been to our family doctor and an ENT to find out he tore his eardrum and probably got water in it when he took his bath. We have spent the last three days pretty much trying to work out a pain management schedule for him. Now that we finally have one down, his pain has lessened and today he was able to get through the day with no severe pain. Somehow this little man seems to take some strange hits when it comes to his health. I just thank God that it is never anything even more serious. Overall we are pretty lucky. Now we just have to keep him healthy until it heals over on its own.
